Perfecto weekend coming our way. Beautiful weather….sunny skies..for a change..we are not broiling in our own juices from the heat. I am thinking what with the recent rains, cooler weather…maybe we will even be able to squeeze out a campfire or two in the campfire pit in the backyard.
Call up some friends and sit around and do a whole lot of nothing but relax. This is a novel idea. We hardly ever get to do this year. Usually we find ways to make this happen most summers. This particular summer has been extremely busy and cluttered.
Hey, maybe we will even be able to pull of a tubing trip down the river. Hope you are finding some kind of way to have fun. We do things on the cheap or free. The only thing tubing costs us is the gas money to get to and from the start point to the end point. Campfire will only cost hotdogs or whatever floats our boat at the moment. I already have the marshmallows. Not my fav..but the kids and hubby love them. I eat two if i am lucky. They are way too sweet for my liking.
Well, better get cleaning the house. The tree guys is finally here cutting the downed trees and getting down the other half of both of them. The trees had split when they came down…so we have two partial trees standing…one over the house…YIKES!!!!
