Finally, an end to this week. Thank God it is Friday! Seems like nothing but crazy stuff all this week. Crazy schedules…crazy out of the ordinary things…i am just soooooo very glad…that the weekend is here.
I have a family wedding to attend this weekend. I am even going to help serve the food. So, it will be nice. One of the teens in our youth group is welcoming friends of her’s from out of state this weekend. They went to Africa, this summer, together on a mission’s trip. They will only be here for the weekend.
This weekend is also going to be crazy busy…but ….somehow it just feels better to say Friday is here. Yeah.
My friend in AZ had his surgery…it was cancer. They are awaiting lab results to find out what kind of cancer; so, they will know how to treat it. He is doing exceptionally well…already up and walking…and the nurses are impressed. He is handling things well.
It is time for some good things to happen to family and friends. We are in crisis here in our state. They are in a budget crunch and can’t seem to balance the budget. If they don’t come to an agreement in our state government today…they are going to shut everything down. This is state aid, emergency personal except for the bare minimum….medicaid, medicare, perscriptions paid for by government, schools…there is no end to the nightmare.
Political parties, aside…get over it…balance the budget so those of us who have been struggling just to survive won’t have to be put in worse situations. Here, people are loosing their homes, jobs, insurance, families. There are no jobs here. People are under tremendous stress. Come on get it together….i don’t think that we are the only state going through this…but we are at the end of the line here in mi.
