Today has had a few….”TA DA” moments. Things are looking a little more “up” for business. This is a very welcome thing. Sometimes, competition is a good thing and sometimes it wipes you out. However, it always ….ALWAYS, pays to know what your competition is up to! 🙂
Nothing wrong with healthy competition…always try to conduct yourself with integrity. Sometimes you just have to be ready to change your course of action to bump up your decisons to the next level. Especially, when your competition is of a high level, deserving of respect.
Still, feeling bad though about our friend “M” who was recently diagnosed with cancer. They are now recommending chemo; as they said, the tumor is an “unusual” type of growth. I dont know what that means…but chemo can be rough. We don’t know what kind of chemo he will have to take/or even if he will consent to take it. We love him very much and only want him to be well.
We had a good IEP meeting for my special needs son who is being homeschooled (by a wonderful certified teacher). He is learning so much more, homeschooled, then he did in all of last year.
In fact, the other educators attending the meeting said, it was one of the most “upbeat” IEP meetings they had ever attended. The secretary in the outer office said it sounded like she should have been in there. Someone asked if we were doing stand up, since there was so much laughter.
We needed to have a little fun. Life has been too much about responsibility, work and things that absolutely have to be done. Sometimes, you just have to find ways to laugh… to blow off a little tension.
In any case, it is Friday people….laugh and enjoy when and where you can. Describe the perfect weekend and write and tell me how you are going to make it happen.
