I have a baby shower to go to tonight. Not just for one baby though. There are two mothers representing two seperate families. One mother is expecting twins (a boy and a girl) and the other mother is having a boy.
So, i went and purchased some outfits and some necessities. Great fun for me. Now, i am in the process of finishing a small little poncho for the girl baby. Now, since the girl is one of a set of twins…i expect that they will be premie. Most of the time, if a mother is expecting twins they will deliver the babies a month early or so. Needless to say, the poncho is small. 🙂
I love babies. Truly, if i could get away with it…i would have a baby in the house every year. Hubby won’t go for it. If they stayed babies…i might stand a chance…but alas, they eventually grow up and learn to “talk back” lol. So, now i just have to wait for the occasional grand-baby. My oldest son and daughter in law say they are done with only (gasp!!!) two children. Booo…i say. They are beautiful.
My daughter who lives an hour or so away has had two children in the last three years. She believes in having them close together…yeah for me. They are planning one more birth child in the next year. Then somewhere down the line they wish to adopt one more. Yeah for me again!!
My younger three are way down the line for having children. Thank goodness for that. A lot of maturing needs to happen here first.
But still…i am thinking somewhere along the way; i can get my baby fill here and there. But still, there is nothing like holding the teeny, tiny little life. So sweet and such a gift.
If i get within a mile of a little one…i can’t help but say ahhhhhhhhhhhh…really loud. Hubby just smiles and says, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO more babies. lol Of course, he said that six times already hahaha. But, THIS TIME, he REALLY means it!!!!
