Being new to the idea of writing as a career; i am looking for ways to earn money while i grow as a writer. I have been trying to open myself up to others who have blazed the trails of earning a living from their writing. I don’t want to spend years collecting rejection letters.
A few months back, i stepped out on faith and joined a mentoring program. I have been learning from expert’s about making money through back-end products after the writing is accomplished. But, before that can happen, i need to do the writing.
But, like most writers, money is always an issue. If a writer could make money from their writing while they explore their creativity at the same time…they would NOT need a day job! This is my goal.
I wish to make money to help support my family while being able to stay at home with the children. This is an ebook that seems to meet my needs, check it out!

Some avenues to explore are Technical Writing and Ghost Writing. They keep you writing, honing your skills, and making money.
A frindly tip: you may want to get rid of the apostrophe at the end of writer’s on your title. I believe you mean the plural 🙂 — a very common mistake.
I wish you much success on this journey.

I have blogged extensively on the writers for hire sites, Guru and Elance and my experience with them as I start out trying to make a living from writing. You may find it interesting.
