Everyday there is another, more disturbing report on Britney Spears and her family. Yesterday, she shows up almost two hours late for a court ordered deposition on her custody case. This young mother is either in denial about the importance of these proceedings or she is beyond being able to make rational decisions.
She was there for a whole 14 minutes according to news reports. Then later in the same day, her lawyers say that she is impossible to represent and that they want released from having to represent her.
Today, the news reports are filled with the even more disturbing report that she was in a standoff with the police and her ex-husband Kevin Federline over releasing the children to his custody. How much trauma were the children exposed to during this standoff? She was rushed to a hospital in an ambulance because she allegedy was under the influence of an unknown substance.
What happened to the court appointed guardian that is supposed to be present when she has the children for visitation? Where are the safeguards for the children’s safety when in her care?
Britney is on an ever increasing course with self destruction. After this latest show of her out of control behavior…it would be criminal for her to have those children for any visitation that is not under extreme supervision. I would be highly surprised if she was allowed visitation of any kind until she has had been evaluated both physically and mentally.
Can’t someone do something? I mean, i understand that she is an adult; i understand she is no longer married…but can’t a legal next of kin have her committed until someone discovers what is at the root of all of this acting out? After all, it isn’t only for her protection but, the protection of innocent children; not to mention the public at large, considering that she has had several publically reported instances of alleged dangerous driving.
