Well, today is the day for voting in Michigan. I am not sure how productive it will be since half of the players took their names off the ballot. The democrats swore that they would not enter in since Michigan changed the date of the primary.
So… then this morning we hear that two of them will be on it… the other democrats are coasting on the idea that if a voter wants to vote them in, then the voter will just vote the undecided category. Huh? I would think that the candidate would just disappear from the voter’s vision if the democratic candidate’s name was absent from the ballot. Oh well, what do i know? In my mind, if i wanted one of the democrats to win the vote and they didn’t put their name on the ballot i would be mad enough to say forget them! It is a lack of respect to me.
I just dont know how the voting will play out. The republicans are all over the news. I just really think some of them are taking the voters for granted too. Mitt Romney says that he can win in michigan and would like to win Michigan; but, says he doesn’t have to. And at the same time…he is definately trying to lean heavily on the past due to his father being the former govenor.
Politics is strange. I don’t enjoy it..but on the other hand…a voter has to take it seriously enough to vote. Sometimes it seems pointless because, candidates talk out of both sides of their mouths and do what they want when they get in office anyway. However, if i didn’t vote my convictions and things turned out badly then i would be extremely busy berating myself!
Things are dicey in Michigan for day to day life and the outcome of the campaign is too important. So, people get out and vote!
