Robin Roberts from Good Morning America was a model today on GMA; she ruled the runway!  She took her place in the model line up and modeled a clothing line.  She is, as always, beautiful.  She did the runway without a wig.  She has been battling breast cancer for many months.

She said she did the show for all of those who are facing challenges.  She decided to do it without her wig because, that is who she is at the moment and she is embracing it.  As much as she has been a role model for others; she has been touched, i believe, herself by the stories of others and she shows a sense of amazement at the amount of support that she has been getting.  She is loved by many.

Robin always looks good…but, i do think they could have found a more flattering style of dress for her to wear.  She has a fabulous figure and she has gorgeous bone structure as well as a beautiful face; so, even though the color of the dress was a good choice for her…the style seemed too boxy in the shoulders or something.  Picky maybe, but you know…her courage and her grace always shines through no matter what she does or where she goes or what she wears!    Robin Rules the Runway!

I just want to take a minute and thank you, to all of the “nice guys” in the world…you know who you are…you are the guy who does nice things for others without being asked…without compensation…often without recognition for the things that you do.

THANK YOU!!!  You are appreciated whether anyone says it or not. I try to follow the golden rule and do unto others as you would have them do unto you, as well.  You can have a large impact on the world if you follow that rule; and you can really make a difference.

Today, one of you “nice guys” came along and plowed my driveway.  You did it a few days ago without compensation.  Today, i was here and i had a chance to thank you and to you pay you.  But, i know that you do those things just because of the kind of person you are.  Again, Thank you.

Today on the way home from the airport (through terrible winter- storm covered roads) we passed a young man on the side of the road; a car  next to him burried deep into a snow bank.  He was trying to shovel his way out.

I had my two teenaged sons with me as we passed this young man trying his best to dig his way out of the snow.  We (along with many , many cars) passed him.  I took notice and we turned around at the next available road and went back to help.

Turns out…the young man wasn’t the driver of the car…two young ladies were.  He lived near by and walked over to help them get out of the snow.  My boys pushed alongside of the “nice guy” and the ladies were on their way.  (The ladies by the way never said thank you, to the young man or to us but, that is ok…they were safely on their way out of a dangerous situation).

So, the “nice guy” really was a nice guy…he said thanks to us, as we went about our business.  I just wanted to say, pass on random acts of kindness if you get a chance.  You never know when you will be in need of a stranger’s help or kindness; it will come back to you!
