Randy Pausch is a gifted speaker/teacher. He made the Last Lecture, to teach his children his view on living. He inspires us all to choose to fulfill our childhood dreams…what are any of us waiting for? He is dying physically; but, he is living fully in the here and now. After listening to him…i really felt impressed to condense his message to me in three small words…
1). Latitude….Be present where you are…in the here and now, make the most of your time.
2). Attitude…Be aware of how you perceive things…be positive…work hard not to dwell on negativity
3). Gratitude…Be grateful for the loving people in your life-friends & family, for your physical and mental well being, for the gift of spirituality, the ability & creativity to provide dreams for yourself; and, for the wisdom to know, not to waste any of it! This is the Last Lecture, and the Only Lecture, we need to get Inspiration.
Fulfilling dreams is such a wonderful concept that so many of us forget to pursue. We either become to busy trying to make money and forgetting our passions or we have often given up on our dreams.
Latitude. . . that was a powerful thought. Thoughts like words are the building blocks for creating our desired reality.
I hope this helps people remember how to follow their passions:

I represent author Susan Hanshaw and her upcoming book “Inner Architect: How To Build The Life You Were Designed To Live.”
Would you consider reviewing Susan’s book when it debuts in June? We would love your feedback.
Thank you!

Great review! Latitude, Attitude, Gratitude, I like that. Makes it easy to remember what is important.
I just finished Randy’s Book by the same title this morning. It is a great compliment to his video. I would have finished the book sooner but since its release it has been very hard to find in stores.
On the day after its release I was traveling from Maryland to North Carolina to visit my folks. I stopped at just about every major city along Interstate 95 to buy the book and every place I went I got the same answer, “Sorry, we have been sold out since yesterday.”
Heck, even Amazon wasn’t expecting to have any in stock until tomorrow. So if you can find the book I suggest you buy it.
All I can say is Randy seems to have really struck a chord that resonates deep inside all of us.
I know he has inspired me to step up my game on living a more fulfilling life.
this is a nice way to condense his lecture…Latitude, Attitude and Gratitude…Thank You.
[…] His message is important. It is uplifting; but, also cautionary…none of us have any guarantee of tomorrow…we must make the most of what we are given. You can see part of an interview that Diane Sawyer did with Randy Pausch here: http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/LastLecture/ The interview gives an amazing insight into the man with a message who lived so joyfully; and, who presented his message with humor and style hoping to touch lives in a meaningful way. Thank you Randy…and your family and friends for sharing it with us! See related story: https://writeasrain.wordpress.com/2008/04/29/295/ […]
