There is breaking news announcing that Senator Ted Kennedy has been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. This, after he was rushed to the hospital following a seizure on Saturday, May 17th, 2008. There has been all kinds of speculation on what caused the seizure; the senator has remained hospitalized while tests were being conducted.
Senator Ted Kennedy has a long and powerful legacy of his time in the Senate. The law maker has been involved in decisions that have impacted us all in the United States over the years. His family has changed the course of this country since the 1960’s. His two brothers made their own marks in the presidency of this country as well as the attorney general’s office.
Ted has worked hard on important issues before the senate such as health reform and the like. He has great political influence. It has not been announced how Senator Kennedy’s medical team plans to treat this malignant brain tumor. We wish him and his family well and pray that whatever form of treatment they choose will allow for him to recover and continue to do the work that he loves.
