I know people who are struggling, people who have cut back in every conceivable way to save money just to stay afloat.  I also know people who are living very comfortably in nice homes, with fancy vehicles, going out to eat regularily and have no worries when it comes to bills or their health.  The world definately has classes of people who are in the haves and the have nots.  There is also a large population of people who are somewhere in the middle.  The thing is…we all have things that we could share.  Blessings come in many packages.

Everyone of us has gifts, talents, finances, possessions, strengths, knowledge or time that we could share with others.  What I love to celebrate and learn about are those who share those blessings with others without thought or expectation of getting something back from that experience of sharing.

Our society is going through some amazingly challenging times…people are struggling.  We need to be aware of others around us who are in need…those who could use a little pick me up.  It could be a kind word, a nice deed, financial gift, or it could be a sharing of knowledge that could bring a positive change to another.   There is a spiritual attitude that I love, it says this: “Those to whom much is given, much is expected in return”.  I call that an attitude of gratitude; being thankful for all that you have been blessed with and a willingness to share it with others!   I challenge you to find some way to bless others in your daily life.   Consider this a compassionate call to action…what can you give to others with no strings attached?

Do you have enough money?  How much is enough?  If you are like most Americans then you; are in debt, struggling to pay for your child’s college education, rotating your bills, borrowing against your retirement benefits when in a bind,  and you have little or no savings for an emergency; and, maybe you wrestle with providing care for your aging parents as well.  Times are tough for alot of people…there are very few jobs that have real security for the employees these days.  Employers are picking up and moving out of local areas and many are even setting up shop, out of the country.

It is hard to find stability in the job market. The economy is rocky and that filters down to everyday people, like you and I; many of whom are facing foreclosure on their homes because of their financial situations.

Do you have enough money to provide yourself with all that you need to survive?  Do you have enough money to live comfortably now; AND, in the future?  If not, you are not alone in your struggles.  There is a system that can help you to place yourself in a better position, so that your future doesn’t depend on some corporate administrator’s latest, cost cutting measure.  http://www.layoffyourboss2.com/ (more…)

Many of you readers are a little richer this week.  Many more of you…haven’t yet received your tax incentive rebate check from your Uncle Sam.  So, when that $$$ ship comes in…are you going to take a cruise to your local spend a lot store; or are you like so many others; and, someone already has their hand in your pocket ready to help themselves before you have even had a chance to smell the money?

I have been hearing all kinds of advertisements on the radio and television each one jockeying for the opportunity to relieve you of your burden of cash.  It would almost be funny; if you didn’t understand that even the businesses in our country are hurting, almost as much as us “little guys”.   So, all i am saying is think clearly before you get tempted to purchase something…or pay that overdue bill.   Make the decision that is right for you and your situation.

Actor Wesley Snipes was acquitted of federal tax fraud and conspiracy but he was convicted for 3 counts of not filing tax returns.  Wow, can you imagine how much money he owes?  His lawyer says that he plans to make financial amends.

You hear horror stories of how much trouble people get into when they dont pay their taxes or if they are late.  There are horrible fees and penalties added to what they originally owe.

When a multi-millionaire gets paid as much as they do in the entertainment industry you would think that they would have multiple tax advisors.  From what was reported in the news lately, Wesley paid taxes up until 1999, when he was ill advised that he did not have to pay them.

Years ago…i remember hearing from a loved one that the IRS didnt have a legal right to demand that a person pay taxes, because they were not a proper legal entity.  I told this person, that i loved, to not believe such garbage.  I argued at the time, that if that were true, no one would pay taxes.

Thank God, the person that i care about didn’t listen to such crazy talk.   I would not want anyone, that i cared about, to make such a deliberate mistake, to listen to something, that goes against common sense.

I don’t see how any sane person could make the kind of money that Mr. Snipes made; and truly and honestly, believe that they would not have to pay taxes on it and not understand that they were required to file a tax return.

When you stop to think about how much good a person could do with the kind of money that was owed; it could make a person sick.  It is true, i think what the Bible says, the love of money can corrupt.

If the everyday “little people” who scrape every dime and nickle they own just to pay their bills and do right with their tax returns, year after year….you would think that those who are so financially blessed could do the same.

Regardless, it is sad to think that someone could have to leave their family; and go to prison, just over something so crazy as to be influenced by a group, person or organization that had a gripe with the government.  It has been previously, reported that Mr. Snipes may have to serve up to 3 years in prison because of his convictions.  Pay what is honestly owed…don’t try to be creative in this area of life.
