Let Oscar’s Be About Recognition Only

         Ok, I get it…the Oscar awards are supposed to be about recognizing the best in the film industry; however, over the years…the Oscars have turned into an industry unto itself.  There are Oscar parties, pre-Oscar and post-Oscar parties, the Barbara Walter’s pre-Oscar interviews, the morning shows that preview the menu’s and the decor of the dinning areas…come on!  Enough already.

Kim Kardashian leaves Dancing With The Stars before 82 Year Old

         Well, this is interesting…tonight on Dancing With the Stars…Kim Kardashian left the show before 82 year old Cloris Leachman.  HMMMMM…what can you say?   That is just sad.  Someone young, someone able bodied, someone who supposedly has a strong following, because of her “reality celebrity” television show, couldn’t beat out an 82 year old comedian/actress…who really can’t dance, who goes for the joke with her performances and who shocks viewers with her poor taste in speech!  

         Well, we are in for another week…of mugging by Cloris.  I certainly thought it was time for her to leave this week…but, what can you say…Kim certainly didn’t help matters with her poor performances.  Thanks alot Kim…i really like Dancing With The Stars…but, i really think that they need to respect the fact that their show is supposed to be family friendly…let’s make sure that future performers remember that fact!

Dance…it is Monday People

        Dances with the Stars is on again tonight…it is Monday, people.  I don’t know about you; but, i plan to vege on the couch and enjoy the show.  Each week it is exciting to see who ups the ante and forces the other competitors to deliver the best performance they can muster.

       The hardest part is waiting till tuesday to see which celebrity and dancing professional  is next to go.  It is getting to the part of the show…where…we have all invested a little bit of our own cheerleading for our favorite dancing couples.  Two dances definately puts a little more pressure on the couples dancing…so, this will be very, very interesting!

All New Dancing With The Stars

       Well, once again, it is Monday…and we all know what that means, right?  Dancing With The Stars will have my back porch glued to the couch once again tonight.  Then the long torturous wait till I know who will be leaving the contest.  As much as i can’t wait to see the performances…i hate to see anyone leaving at this point because as a viewer i start to invest a little rah, rah, rah for each of them.  Ahhh…i know it has to happen, teams getting eliminated, for someone to actually win the whole competition; but, i don’t have to actually like it, now do I?
